If you haven’t listened to our latest podcast, where have you been? Only joking! The link is here. We’ve absolutely loved doing the podcast, and every episode we say ‘this was our favourite one yet’ and yet, somehow, we manage to top it every time (in our minds).

Monthly Reading Club

So, what ARE blondesbooknook reading at the moment? And what would we recommend? Having just finished the third book in the This Woven Kingdom by Tahereh Mafi, I have to say the fourth book is all I keep thinking about. Sadly I didn't know it wasn’t a trilogy head of starting it, and found out at the end of the third book it’s actually meant to be a five-book series.

Upcoming Releases

If you don’t know already, we do have a dedicated Book Release tracker (you can keep your eye on it here), but the books we’re most excited about is the newest instalment in the Ninth House series (pre-order the hardback) called Dead Beat. If you haven’t read any of the Ninth House series, please do, it’s so good! It follows a main character called Alex Stern, set in a dark academia vibe. Perfect for the upcoming season change.

We also know Rebecca Yarros has a new book called ‘Threshing Day’ (pre-order the hardback) coming out in September. I’ll be entirely honest and say I am not particularly excited by this release, as it seems very expensive for a series of short-stories, but that’s just me!!! Bring back the series pls Rebecca.
